Jeff Breault GIMS 2019 Updates Mercedez-Benz to Unveil 2020 Line

Noted car enthusiast Jeff Breault is excited to see top car manufacturers battle it out at the upcoming 2019 Geneva International Motor Show. Among other top manufacturers, one name that will definitely make an impact is Mercedes-Benz. According to reports, the car company will be making its presentation with a mix of old with new. Topping the list is the world debut of the first-ever AMG variant for its GLE53 line. This is promised to be the much-higher version of the still-active 2020 GLE class. Under the hood, there are little differences between other AMG 53 models from the CLS and E classes. All of them come with a 3.0-liter, turbocharged I6 engine. This means that the new AMG 53 will deliver the same 429 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. According to Jeff Breault, while the same engine will be present, the upcoming GLE53 will be a tad faster than its previous counterparts, since it will feature a nine-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel configuration.

Rumor has it that the car company will be coming out with a new line inspired by the 57 SC Atlantic. However, there are also rumors saying that the classic design is just a custom order and will not be available as a full lineup. Supposedly, the revival of the 57 SC Atlantic in the new design is not what observers like Jeff Breault are expecting. Instead, it is only a custom, one-off order from ex-VW chief, Dr. Ferdinand Piech that reportedly costs about $18 million. The 57 SC Atlantic is one of the few classics that made Bugatti a household name in the industry, so the car manufacturer has been interpreting its
