As per noted NBA observer Jeff Breault, the biggest surprise as the trade season is reaching its end is Anthony Davis asking the New Orleans Pelicans for a trade. Rumors have started, chief among them that the star may be considering the LA Lakers as a new home. Meanwhile, as the rumors also suggest that 2-year mainstay Lonzo Ball will be part of the trade, the star has quickly let out that for his part, a season with the Pelicans will be lukewarm at best. According to the reports, the young point guard is not keen on the Lakers-Pelicans trade, and would rather have a third team as part of the talks.
